More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Pizza Hut still exists? I had no idea. I haven't been to one since the 1980s. Do they still have tabletop arcade games you can play while you wait to be seated? Those are great.

There might be a few. Mostly just serving up sad pizza.

it's not sad, it's just really sugary dough that tastes weird

They never moved with the times apart from the Pepsi dispenser having different flavours. The salad bar was an embarrassment. The pizzas are mediocre at best with prices too high.

The Pizza Hut here where I live is rather depressing. It's still open somehow, but I never see anyone go inside and the parking lot is always empty and somewhat overgrown. Seems they mainly survive by doing delivery orders, I guess. There's way better pizza in town so there's not much appeal to getting PH.
