Why is this alliance even a thing when half of its own member states can’t agree with the other half

Also the EU wants to force EU countries to buy all of Ukraine's grain and other produce. Polish and Romanian farmers must be really glad to be part of the EU and supporting Ukraine to the death.

There already were multiple scandals because of that in Poland and not even counting all the farmers protest, a lot of Ukrainian grain is such a bad quality that Polish health inspection was forced by govt to create new cathegory "technical grain", as in grain only suitable for technical usage, absolutely not for consumption by people or animals, otherwise they would declare it unsafe for any usage.

I give them a decade at best
