Kind of misleading title -- Microsofts CEO is worried that not having enough AI will destroy the company, as they'll be made obsolete by other AI companies.

Microsoft needs to keep chucking "AI" into every single one of it's products to get their AI usage numbers up.

That number needs to go up so they can keep getting funding from investors.

It doesn't matter if it makes the products worse, or it's worse for the users who use the products, or it's worse for the developers who make the products, as long as that AI number goes up.

But what happens when investors have put all their money into AI and there's no more money to put into the bubble? The investors will want their expected profits, but it isn't going to be coming and each investor will sell their stock as fast as possible to get as much money back as they can.

In the end, the tech sector is going to be left a husk for a while.

It’s a race to see who destroys Microsoft first — AI, or Nadella.

And yet you won't stop funding it or shoving it into every possible product.

Adding garbage AI into every nook and cranny of Windows is what will ruin them. My brand new workstation freezes, and task manager shows its AI.exe that's hogging everything.

Its part of Office and my current solution is delete Ai.exe and aimgr.dll. It fixes it till an update puts the files back.
