The good news is the U.S. courts have a law enforcement body directly accountable to them, the U.S. Marshals, so that the judicial branch is actually an equal branch of the government and can’t just be ignored!
The bad news is the U.S. Marshals, despite being the direct enforcement arm of the judicial branch, are actually a part of the executive branch and are therefore completely useless for this task
Because normally that would be the answer. Oh they’re ignoring a court order? Have the US Marshals arrest the fucking president for breaking the god damn law, and arrest his secret service agents too if they try to stop you.
Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun, and political positions only have power if they have the ability to point guns somewhere.
