I got banned from reddit anyway. I called another redditor a child molester, because he was waxing lyrical about how hot underage girls are. I got banned for insulting him. He did not get banned. Reddit is a cesspit.
Comradeship // Freechat
Talk about whatever, respecting the rules established by Lemmygrad. Failing to comply with the rules will grant you a few warnings, insisting on breaking them will grant you a beautiful shiny banwall.
A community for comrades to chat and talk about whatever doesn't fit other communities
Ugh I hate how normalized that is on reddit. I never read comments on posts with women/girls in them because I know the comments are going to be disgusting
- open reddit.
- See a woman related post on a mainstream sub
- read the comments
- close reddit
I once got a tempban for trolling a literal nazi subreddit, but the subreddit itself was not banned
I've been permabanned since the oct 7 thing happened and voiced my opinions to some zionists. I've been frothing at the mouth ever since. I like it here and have been here since well before, but there are few opportunities to insult the zionists and I greatly desire to do so.
Welcome! I'm glad you got out of that crypto fascist hell hole. (I mean reddit not Canada but you can dream)
I am dreaming!! China, please let me in!!
i feel a lot safer on lemmy than reddit.
Same, I don’t feel too watched here. I don’t really get much paranoia on this website
Sometimes I post on reddit to recommend lemmy
Basically this. I wish more mods of leftist subs would mention Lemmy backups in the subreddit information.

I've thought so too, and was thinking it would be good to suggest this to a few subs' mods, but with r/Lemmy getting banned i wonder if they'd be wary to do that
This made me laugh. That's how I found Lemmy. Maybe it was even your comment that lead me here
Haha, maybe! Glad you came over here o7
I'll still pop into niche hobby subreddits to get ideas and guidance on stuff.
But, otherwise I'm doomscrolling here 16 hours a day lol
How about hopescrolling 50% of the time to compensate?

❤️
Same here. I hidden and blocked most mainstream subreddits to avoid getting rage baited.
Haven't used reddit since the API debacle
i was thinking about getting into lemmy, but i found lemmygrad
Lemmygrad IS a lemmy server.
(I am sorry if this is sarcasm and I didn't get it. That would be my fault then.)
Yeah I quit all of META and reddit for the Fediverse.
reddit is mental poison
Glad you liked it
Haven't really used Reddit in a few years, been only on Lemmy.
I lost my account password years ago, but I'll still check old./r/all now and again to see what's going on over there. feels like it's uh... declining. hit it less and less since they're now blocking some nodes of my VPN and it isn't worth the hassle of finding a usable VPN outlet.
I hate how Reddit stops me from posting too much. I have ADHD so this really pisses me off.
Never used it myself that much really (thank god), but I like this much more as an alternative. Reddit is a cesspool US deep state cut-out propaganda and censorship platform like all of these US-based platforms are, they answer to the state dept and empire and we all know it. Doesn't matter if it's META, X or Reddit (and fuck, Google and YouTube obviously) - they all follow the same line. They'll crack down on leftist subs, even r/russia due to the official US position, yet keep racist Western subs around (like r/europe) and other liberal shitholes of all kinds I don't give a shit to even name or remember, even fascist subs and of course the genocide apologists on r/"israel".
The manufactured outrage against Hasanabi for false dog abuse allegations and the brigade that infected all subreddits yesterday just consolidated my choice to leave lemmy for lemmygrad and Hexbear.
Not sure really why anyone cares about Hasan at all. You can't be led by the mouth if you don't keep a horse bit.
It's not about Hasan alone. The entire reddit got brigaded yesterday to the point where niche subreddits were getting posts and comments about this topic. It exposed the obvious planning that went into it.
