It sounds like the tenant did all they could to track him down and get their money back. I think there's also an issue around not being registered despite the rules at the time. What a disaster.
Is there one of those sites for this election where you get asked a bunch of questions then it tells you which candidate ticks more boxes?
I've found them very helpful in the past. Not enamored with any of the candidates at the moment tbh. We've had it so good with the last three that the current crop look bland and institutional by comparison.
Edit: oh I see it's only down to two now!! Wow. Last I checked there were a good few more vying and I put off further digging.
