lol the amount of sexism i had to deal with in the tech field was crazy, and the moment ai started scanning resumes i couldn't get any hits until i reworded it to sound more masculine

i wish dei was as based as these people think it is

How does one do this? Sincere question

It's mostly that you should use more definitive/technical sounding words, avoid non-definitive statements, and condense the content to bullet points rather than full sentences iirc

What's funny is women were in programming long before men.

Back in my day, women could even become the computer. Men could never.

These boys need to put some respect on Ada Lovelace's name!

This has to be rage bait. Diversity hiring is going crazy because no way OP got this job legitimately with a 3.1 GPA, no experience and no major projects

People see minorities and women doing well and immediately turn the comments into a Klan rally

Explain why women have a much lower rate of cs enrollment but are overrepresented here

The US is 60% white. If you SJWs actually cared about equal representation, then this group would be 60% white.

Whites are flipping the burgers according to our H1B overlords

I'm not racist, I just don't support unfair hiring practices.

DEI hires lol

DEI / nepo

All of them will be getting paid 6 figures while you're slaving away on leetcode. It's all DEI for women and immigrants.

I got my first job during a bad market with a crappy gpa, no projects, no internships. I did it by being normal and connecting with a career fair dude on a common hobby and, continuing to be normal, made my way through that company's "open house" (informal personality/get along with the employees assessment) and did ok enough on the interviews. These dudes fucking suck.

The average CS redditor has mediocre solutions to problems / vibe-coded solutions, or just downright garbage code riddled with if statements.

They remind me of half the people in my CS classes. Downright insufferable, no hygiene, terrible manners, extremely rude to people and get's mad when you're offended.

That facebook movie did numbers on these pieces of shit too. Had a kid show up to a job fair wearing flip flops which I can only assume is because Zuckerberg did that shit in the movie.

You can't be a gross piece of shit who everyone dislikes and expect to get a job. It isn't the 90s anymore, programmers are a dime a dozen now.

Oh yeah.

UlyssesT and I spent some time around the people who caused the AI bubble, and let me tell you, if you thought they considered Techno Utopianism a way to shatter all oppression and boundaries to human flourishing, you are greatly mistaken.

They want a Man in the High Castle world, but with more American flags and a bunch of Ayn Rand ubermench hypercapitalists in charge. Only white ones of course.

Looking to going back to school and as I have been doing this, I have been in for a shock about STEM. I thought these people were supposed to be smart. The S&M (laugh) are pretty chill in STEM it seems.
