they were blaming him every step of the way that it was a left winger, a transgender connection. they dont want to admit that he was an even more right winger than kirk that shot him.
What are your thoughts on his roommate, who was transitioning/his girlfriend?
Please don't take this like the memes "is anybody nearby trans?!?!" But the few podcasts I listen to (and trust to be more or less objective) reported on this, and while it an incredible leap of logic (and absolutely immoral, wrong and disgusting) to then decide Trans people are a terrorist group, does it not imply his ideology wasn't the ultra right winger killing someone for being less right wing?
I probably will regret posting this because frankly it's too depressing and the truth doesn't even matter in regards to the outcomes.... The USA is not OK.

I haven't seen anything to substantiate the fact their roommate was trans or they were dating. The only evidence we have is government agencies handing in alleged texts/a note; and they already wrongly arrested 2 people before the main killer was finally brought in (though one of them did falsely claim to be the killer, at least according to the government.)
This also all happened while the governemnt has been trying to strip rights from trans individuals. So it certainly seems way too convient for the US Gov to believe it just because they said so.
At least, thats my thoughts. Though I also wasn't asked lol

This article mentions his roommate/romantic partner, and much later in the article it does say they are trans (later makes sense cause it shouldn't f-ing matter)
I am aware that at this point all "evidence" that isn't publicly verifiable (his Facebook relationships? Multiple friends verifying, ect.) is super suspect as we sadly know this government and the authorities involved will be bending every truth exactly how they please. But that's the info we have right now.

Doubt on both fronts there. They love political violence. They just don't like it being done to them.
The Kirk funeral was full of people, including the President of the United States telling the crowd that they were under attack and needed to fight, many thinly veiled calls to violence (and one deafening white supremacy dog whistle about how “we” built this world, somehow including Ancient Rome in this “we”).
They love political violence, they just want to frame it as self defense.
