Kid is lucky. I had to wait like 6 years to be able to see Godzilla vs. Destroyah when I was a kid and I looked everywhere for that damn movie (this was before online shopping was really a thing, and I was 6). My grandfather eventually taped it for me off one of his satellite movie channels and I was so happy.

Which disability is that? It sure sounds like anon has autism, but while I know that autists have issues with body heat I haven't heard it described quite like that, yet.

[–] StarvingMartist@sh.itjust.works 17 points 2 days ago

Could be hypohidrosis, where you can't sweat enough to cool yourself down

[–] someguy3@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago (2 children)

What, how do autists have issues with body heat?

[–] rumschlumpel@feddit.org 7 points 1 day ago

AFAIK more in the sense of feeling hot or cold. But IDK, digestive issues and insomnia are also common issues; it seems like whatever triggers autism has more wide-reaching consequences than just different behavior.

Anon didn't mention the hereditary learning disability, which also explains why he can't count
