The Canadian parliament does love giving Nazis standing ovations.

It's a Pavlovian reflex at this point.

Or like Strangelove with the salute.

strangelove-wow

Huh, how unusual. I thought they only did that for living Nazis.

it's been almost two years to the day that the canadian parliament gave a standing ovation to that dusty ukrainian nazi kkkanada

“Canada is a really screwed up country and it is a self-hating country, as you well know, that prides itself on being polite. This is a great lesson for those of us from the West that your favourable characteristics of being polite, nice and welcoming can also be your downfall.”

  • Charlie Kirk

there's a saying in Africa, "a big funeral for a dead mouse"

American here: I know the NDP isn’t all that great but did they stand up for him too?

[–] Clippy@hexbear.net 6 points 6 days ago (1 children)

liberal party did the centrist thing

they clapped for "freeze-peach"

but the on the record commendation/ moment of silence for charlie kirk was voted down

i presume the NDP followed same there was some heat with a NDP native woman who is a feminist and stuff that called kirk a bad guy or something - had to walk it back and apologize. though it seems they did not kick them out of the party.

so i guess slightly better but they probably ended up applauding him in this event too cause it was "free speech" orientated

Please tell me that at least the Bloc Québécois didn’t clap.

Most cowardly cucked country possible. Can't help but bootlicker whenever possible. Kirk was literally one of the guys joking around about the 51st state crap and they still can't help but go out of their way to fawn over this dead fascist. So much for "elbows up" lmfao

If you have an eagle eye and spotted that Chrystia Freeland didn't stand up with the rest of the Liberals, it's because she's more of a "blood and soil" type Nazi than a normal fascist.
