3 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
I refinished this edge using my La Petite Blanche coticule. The razor was previously sharpened on a La Veinette. Today's shave was slightly more comfortable and, perhaps, slightly less close, but that's a difficult call.

Sample kill. I enjoyed this scent, but doubt that I'd want a full tub. I just don't find myself in the mood for rose very often.
I'm bummed to hear about Spearhead closing up shop, but it motivated me to finally get off my ass and pick up some of their stuff that I've wanted for a while.

Nocturne lives on for another day. I do believe there is enough soap for one more shave.
I feel like I got the lather pretty dialed in today. It's a thirstier soap than I give it credit for... it only took an entire tub to sort of realize that.
Great razor, great blade. One of my favorites. Super skin friendly, and whatever bevel is ground into these blades does a great job of shaving me closely.

Hey, another Chiseled Face base fan! Most people don't have much good to say about it. Is yours the normal base or the silk tallow base?
I have samples from Maggard's. They didn't specify on the order page, but the sticker matches the non-silk tallow soap, so I think that's what I have.
