I don't want to get into a whole argument about him here, so I'll just say that I'm having a harder time separating the art from the artist and am taking it as an opportunity to expand my horizons.

I love that his music feels larger than life. Genuinely interesting beats with way more creativity than 90% of the other stuff I hear. The big echoing choir vocals get me every single time. Honestly, I miss listening to him more as a producer than a rapper.

Who else can I check out that might scratch that itch?

You into JPEGMAFIA at all? He cites ye as a big influence and he's probably making the most creative beats out of anyone in the game.

What's your music taste? Do you go outside of hip hop? If you like alternative I got a few that scratch that itch for me.

For example "The Absent Sea" by Meltt

The vocals, ambiance of the music, the environment it creates, along with everything building to the ending. I love that song

Check out Common and his album "be" Kanye has some tracks on it. Also Common's "like water for chocolate" album is fire too.

What era of Kanye. Otherwise, I can list any producer from Erick Sermon to Death Grips and make an argument for it.
