I'm not sure how to interpret this one.
On the one hand, justifying vaccines is a constant process. I'm sure there are several dozen studies and reports going over the safety and effectiveness of the covid vaccines that any immunization expert could just forward to the White House. None of that should be news to anyone.
So is this an invitation for people to make a show of sending that information to Trump so he can play like he's just received shocking new information and now wants to boot Kennedy? The havok at the CDC might be stirring up more trouble than Trump thinks Kennedy is worth.
But anti-vaxxers are a big part of the MAGA coalition, so he'd be annoying his base. Trump has shown that he will sometimes do that as in the case of the Chinese student visas.
And so I'm not sure if this is a hint at getting tired of Kennedy, or if the plan is to let the anti-vaxxers put on a show trial against vaccines, and then go all in with Kennedy. Or maybe more likely still, there is no considered plan and Trump is just muddling through the controversy to take whichever exit presents itself first.
