I dunno, I fell like this is not a new problem and the "opposition" were in power not that long ago, with the first outright majority we have had since bringing in proportional parties in the 90s. Why didn't they do something?
Sorry, in a cynical mood today.
Yeah, they've only been out of government less than two years.
You had your chance, guys.
It's not going to do anything. Costco didn't even open up a second store in Auckland let alone one in Wellington or Chch or Hamilton. It's certainly not going to open one up in Matamata or Waihi or Nelson or Alexandra.
Like everything this government does it's just a handout to their oligarch buddies.
