Nearing the end of spring, year 3. Leah just had our baby. Making mostly wine, beer, coffee and cheeses and doing some seasonal vegetables besides it. Was working on some aestethics, but it got a little tedious.
Still need to do the Skull Cave to level 100 and need to get hardwood for the boat. Most of my mornings are gone tending to various stuff though.
I started seriously playing it for the first time (literally had it the day it first came to Steam but never played more than a few days into Spring) a couple days ago. IDK why I didn't really settle down with it. It's everything I ever wanted from Harvest Moon since playing the original SNES game, and that series failed to deliver what I wanted with every iteration after that one.
I am approaching Winter for the first time and have been getting close to Sam. Just paid for my first house upgrade.
The only thing I don't like is that the quests don't give you enough time and the logical condtions to complete them are dumb sometimes. Like a dude wants 24 eggs, but I have to not just provide the eggs, I have to COLLECT them, too. So even though I have been saving eggs for myself, it doesn't count just giving them to the the guy who wants them. If there is a mod to make this shit better, please tell me.
