I mean… it’s pretty obvious if you listen to what anti-Israel right wingers say. They are anti-Israel not because of colonialism, imperialism or genocide. They are anti-Israel because they believe in anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson have both parroted “Great Replacement” nonsense. All they are doing is inciting hatred against Jews.
There is likely an element of antisemitism involved, particularly if rightist gentiles are noticing Jews ragequitting the neocolony and moving to Imperial America. Nonetheless, I think that the most important reason is that the general public is getting very little benefit from this annihilation campaign: the jobs that the arms industry creates are nowhere close enough to induce an economic boom. Everybody (except for Netanyahu) is getting tired of this fruitless war, and that boosts the isolationist right’s credibility.
Not to mention that they're mad that da jooz are allowed an ethnostate and they aren't.
Well that’s also just anti-semitism too because it leads them to believe that Israel is some secret Jewish plot instead of it actually just being a capitalist proxy.
I know why it's happening and why, but I still think it's a good thing that Americans in general are abandoning AIPAC. However the break happens doesn't really matter unfortunately. This is going to hurt Americans in the long run, especially since the maga crowd is trending towards Christian nationalism. However in all fairness, it should surprise no one that the US will continue to become more fascist as time progresses. The American left failed to mobilize and this means the fascist future is inevitable.
Might as well welcome any change that would reduce the suffering of the global south.
And Americans finally dropping the entity will undoubtedly improve the QoL of west Asia as a whole.
