The water from the "cold" side of the tap, the water coming from underground, read at 84(F) today.

What is Doomer? :(
It is a nebulous thing that may include but is not limited to Climate Change posts or Collapse posts.
Include sources when applicable for doomer posts, consider checking out !bloomer@www.hexbear.net once in awhile.
I sorta thought that was the norm for this latitude come summer? Its 83 f here out of the tap RN.
It's usually around 74-78 where I'm at
What's the logic behind this, don't pools cool people down?
The heat index (what it "feels like" outside when factoring in temp and humidity) is over 115F, it's considered dangerous to be outside, even in a pool. The heat index was 120F near St. Augustine, and I saw some people who own pools saying the water in their pools was above 95F (94F is the minimum temp needed to cool the body).
120F
JFC wasn't that Death Valley/Sahara Desert temperature like 10 years ago?
I wonder if we'll start seeing pool coolers in tropical areas like you see pool warmers in moderate or cool climates?
You will probably start seeing sun shading and fountains (aeration cools water) since both are cheaper, but heat pumps with chilling functions for pools do exist.
Can't have lifeguards and people out there working in these temps and at a certain point the water gets so hot it does the wet bulb thing where it doesn't cool people down so people give themselves heat stroke. We hit a realfeel of 112Β°F again today.
Florida sucks but I want to visit the keys. Might as well enjoy them while I still have the opportunity to.
Florida is wasted on the burgers.
Florida wasn't ever great but 40 years of influx of the worst NY/NJ boomer retirees has made it unlivable.
Itβs been so fucking hot the last 3 days. I was outside at 2pm yesterday for a little bit and it was torture
Yea, it's been obscene.
