I've mostly put it off because Kingmaker put me off Owlcat a bit, and I've never been a huge 40k fan. Also my backlog is too big.

But I heard it's good, and it's good to hear it's getting even better. I might pick it up on a future sale, who knows.

That's fair, I think Owlcat have learned from Kingnaker though, their next game was much more polished and Rogue Trader is in a really good place stability wise and gameplay wise

Yeah, I have heard. I actually already own WotR and I'll get around to playing it some day. There were things about Kingmaker I really quite liked, but also quite a few things I absolutely hated. I'm hoping the encounter design is better in the subsequent games, especially compared to the end of Kingmaker. That bit felt like it was designed by people who hate their players with a fiery passion and was a large part of making me question Owlcat.

Also the game is like 200h, definitely felt worn out and burned out towards the end of it.
