Wait. I thought all those student loan forgiveness programs had been torpedoed by Trump.
Or are they waiting for some super-wonderful forgiveness for ICE employees only that Trump plans to bribe them with? I hate to break it to them but if they’re waiting for this then Trump will very likely rescind it the moment you tender your resignations.

ICE workers deserve to be miserable.
Most spoke on the condition of anonymity, for fear of losing their job or being subjected to a polygraph exam.
Why? Why is holding on to this job important if everything about it sucks? Management, moral, targets, inhumane methods, feeling forced to hide your identity, being dispiced by the public, etc. etc. Noting positive mentioned in the article. Why not quit? You're not the pope, it's not a job for life!
It’s only a shame that more of those POS humans don’t sleep so un-soundly.
They're perfectly capable of doing their job in a humane and legal way, they're choosing not to do so. Would they get fired? Maybe, but that's when you have grounds for a lawsuit or a story to sell the press.
