...are we this out of ideas?

Say what you will, but this is certainly a new idea.

Probably not a good idea, but it is a new idea.

S1 was a fairly bog-standard isekai that only served as a vehicle to celebrate Japan's vending machine culture.

If you're looking for a great story, you won't find it here. But if you find the premise amusing, and the Japanese obsession with vending machines interesting, then it's some good mindless fun.

They love driving a trend into the ground. How does something like this get a second season?

I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to more. This and the one about being able to online shop in another world were both great imo.

Campfire cooking is fantastic for a chill slice of life / cooking isekai with a splash of adventure

I agree. Didn’t expect much going in but found it to be a very enjoyable show.

This happens every time this series comes up. People bashing it because of the premiss alone. Doesn't matter how often it gets repeated that the series is actually good.

Honestly I love stupid sounding premises like this. I just wish we weren't stuck with synopsis for a title.

I happen to enjoy the Japanese style of title paragraphs

I might have become numbed to series titles, but I don't think this one is even in the top 100 of the worst offenders. Some series titles spoil the entire plot instead of just the basic premiss. I still would prefer some more catchy and normal titles though.

I watch shows like this but pretty sure it’s some form of self-harm

Yes. Yes they are
