I've made a site that pulls data from the official Bandai Hobby Site to browse released Gunpla kits. This should make it easier to find kits by grade, series, and the release year.

The site should auto-update daily. If there are any bugs or missing information, please feel free to send me a reply or DM! I'm trying to keep this DB as automated as possible, so any kits that aren't part of the Bandai Hobby Site list aren't going to be included. When a new series or grade is released, though, I'll need to manually update the translations and image mappings.

Nice! I use the Bandai manual site regularly, so this could be helpful.

Also on a side note, you can get the actual pdf of the instructions off their site by modifying their URL. Take this:

https://manual.bandai-hobby.net/menus/detail/2373

and modify it to this:

https://manual.bandai-hobby.net/pdf/2373.pdf

You now have the actual pdf file that you can download and interact with like any other pdf. Maybe a good feature for gunpla.fyi would be to directly link to these.

Dalong.net does this in Korean and English with pictures of runners and full part count breakdown in Pictures

Dalong is another good resource, but I prefer the manual scans from Bandai.

dalong is great! this is intended to be a better browsing experience rather than a replacement for dalong's incredible cataloguing work

It would be nice to be able to filter by standard or limited release.

unfortunately that data isn't part of the bandai site, so i'd need to figure out how to join that data with other sources. preferably in an automated way
