Literally sent the last page to my spouse to complain that its so suddenly done, since the storyline seemed very promising.

Just finished binging the remaining 20 chapters I overlooked.

Such a shame this was axed. Both the real world and isekai parts were very well done, and the character growth was there and realistic.

If there's one thing I dislike about this manga, it is that it spent too long harping on how the MC was a loser previously, and him turning over a new leaf came as a surprise to his old associates. It could have moved on to other plot points.

I still like it a lot though. It's so rare to see a protagonist who is actually self-aware and capable of reflection.
