If your cellphone is on and unsecured, your location can be tracked and your unencrypted communications, such as SMS, may be intercepted. Take out the SIM card, turn off WiFi, download Jami or Briar and switch on Bluetooth: tada, you now have own Bluetooth network to communicate with others privately and securely. Anybody can do it.
