I'm glad the regular season is here.

I'm less than pumped that the Bombers are on the bye.

We really need that 10th team so we can get rid of this first week bye nonsense.

But the Blue being on the bye week didn't stop me from putting my Bombers jersey on and watching Ottawa and the Riders battle it out.

Riders looked shaky to start but seemed to collect themselves throughout the rest of the game. Sucks for them that Oulette went out so early... but good for us Bombers fans!

I only caught a small bit of the game live, but I just watched the TSN highlight reel.

The tribute to Chase Stegall was unexpected, but nice.

If the Riders can get healthy, they really could be a force to be reckoned with.

It's hard to tell from what I saw, but the Redblacks didn't look terrible to me. Their run game seemed pretty strong.

The CFL 110 podcast says they expect a lot of parity across the league this year, so we could be in for some nail-biters.

I would agree with the parity comment. I think there is a lot to look forward to across the entirety of the league this year as far as talent goes. IMHO I don't think that any one team is a sure pick to win it all at this juncture. That being said, all it takes (for any team) is a key injury to really derail a season.

Both Ottawa and the Riders looked good last night.

Looking forward to more football tonight and tomorrow. Really interested to see what happens in Edmonton this year. I think I'm most excited to see what VA does in Calgary against BC. That looks like a good rivalry game for sure.
