Minor nit, but it might be good to have a link to https://www.comaps.app/ in the community sidebar here. I wasn't sure if I remembered the URL and looked there for a link to click because I'm lazy and didn't see it. Couple of questions too if that's OK:

Is this Lemmy community going away if/when a new name is chosen?
Looks like the app isn't available for download yet, even as an APK? The download links at https://www.comaps.app/download/ are invalid.

Any plans to also open a donation page on liberapay? Might be too early to ask but thought I'd throw it in here :)

Great question, we do have plans to create it! Since we have not yet incorporated as a non-profit, there are extra steps to set this up, and we're working on it right now. Thank you for your support, we appreciate you very much!
