Yes, I do. You don't know what a "Media cult" is, I teach it over on !MediaCults@lemm.ee since so many Reddit meme addicts don't realize they are in a meme cult. Like most Americans in year 2025, you probably lack "media ecology" literacy, cults of media formats and media venues. Teachers like Marshall McLuhan from University of Toronto and Neil Postman from New York University in Manhattan are core teachers on the subject, but most Reddit users seem to have never studied the electric media influence upon populations / group thinking cults.

Rupert Murdoch's media networks, inclusive of Fox News HDTV, is another example of a "media cult", it is a cult of fiction storytelling to hate the poor, it is a wealth televangelism cult of the bling / status symbols of the wealthy. It is a cult of a pattern of media messages and memes, fiction storytelling.

Science fiction storytelling, not reality real.

I’ve been on a kick reading books about early christianity for about eighteen months. Just fascinating stuff. Robert M Price has converted me (along with two other authors before him) to Christ Mythology. It’s the theory that Jesus was originally a figure in heaven but later the church made him a historical figure to better control the message by shutting down divine messages that any shmuck could receive with new teachings. We’ll never really know, but it’s been a fun journey.
