Cool, but I've heard politicians speak positively about electoral reform before. I need something a bit more concrete, s'il vous plait.

Campaigning on electoral reform won't work this time because we were burned last time it was. But if Carney is serious about his, "I'm not a politician" shtick, then maybe he'll set the wheels in motion to get to PR? Wishful thinking without more evidence though.

My feeling is he's not going to do it of his own volition. I am more confident that he would help get that to reality, if there is a widespread push from Liberal, NDP, Green, and Bloc MPs to do that, through Private Member's Bills, petitions, cabinet meetings etc.

He should pass proportional representation to improve the performance of the economy and to reduce waste from cancelled projects.
