Smiths thin & crispy chips - sour cream and chives flavour - my intellect knows that this is not a proper meal, but my stomach begs leave to differ. Maybe the glass of wine has impaired my stomach's judgment.

[โ€“] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 1 points 5 hours ago

That glass has done nothing wrong nod nod

I have landed in the Soup. Say what you will about this place, you gotta give kudos to Changi airport - 15 minutes from deplaning to cab. Was expecting to wait for my bags - nope, merrily halfway down the conveyor belt along with its fellow passengers. And I got to use the completely passportless lane for citizens/residents.. it's almost freakishly fast (like 2 seconds total kind of fast). A good reminder of how biometrics are harder to hack than a passport. They probably have every inch of my face mapped out.

Anyway, can't wait to have a big sumptuous dinner and then crash early. I finished the last 5% of Overstory on the plane and got all riled up about what my life has become. Then I reread Howl's Moving Castle because I had it on my Kindle. Now I feel less cynical.

Yay! Enjoy the soup time.

[โ€“] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 5 points 8 hours ago

yay, you arrived safely

hope your stay is joyous ๐Ÿ™‚

Yay soup!!

That airport is a wild experience. Hope your dinner was absolutely delicious!

This is a nice night.

If it rains tomorrow that'd be amazing.

Goodnight all โค๏ธ

I had to pack A LOT into that short week, somehow it felt more stressful. Time to relax. Rushed to Dans before they closed to buy a bottle of scotch to enjoy over ice tonight.

[โ€“] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 5 points 7 hours ago

Enjoy mate! I'll be boozing tomorrow.

[โ€“] PeelerSheila@aussie.zone 4 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

I got a good laugh and some entertainment out of this video I'm listening to their other stuff also but loving this especially atm!

[โ€“] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 2 points 6 hours ago

I thought of a fun idea for the trip back: girlfriend takes the train up to Shepparton, we meet her there when we get there, do the handover and the boys can take the train to Donnybrook where I'll meet up with them to finish the trip back.

They get to see mum again, ride a train, and they're not strapped down for the last leg of the ride

I'm failing to taste any chocolate from my Cadbury Crunchy Chocolate Easter Bunny. It's taken me two goes at eating his ears and all I taste is sugar. I don't think it's me.

[โ€“] Bottom_racer@aussie.zone 6 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Careful now. With 2 partial ears it might be able to still hear you. Try the feet next so it won't chase you.

But yea cadbury has gone downhill for a while now :(

[โ€“] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 4 points 8 hours ago

The ears are completely gone. I'll suck his face off next while being disgusted with myself.

[โ€“] TheWitchofThornbury@aussie.zone 2 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Easter choc of any sort is a built-in disappointment. Tinfoil is no substitute for flavour. Gave up on it years back. Have never regretted it. Wait a couple of weeks and get yourself some of the good stuff and enjoy!

The Allen's popping candy egg thingo was like crack. It was so good.

[โ€“] TheWitchofThornbury@aussie.zone 2 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Popping candy is one of the good new things.

[โ€“] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 1 points 7 hours ago

It was so good that I went back to get more and there wasn't any left. It's good I found something else I like since they took my Malteser bunnies from me. I'm still dirty about that.

Whittaker's chocolate had a chokehold on me this week.

[โ€“] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 4 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Whittaker's peanut butter block is my fav.

[โ€“] PeelerSheila@aussie.zone 2 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

I love that creamy caramel ๐Ÿคค

[โ€“] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 7 hours ago

You can't go wrong with any of them.

[โ€“] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 1 points 5 hours ago

[โ€“] bacon@aussie.zone 9 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

[โ€“] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 5 points 11 hours ago (2 children)

Good luck, bacon!

My wardrobe looks immaculate but the rest of the house now looks like a bomb site.

Civic duty โœ…๏ธ

Climate change denier outside the voting centre yelled out, "Climate change isn't real, prove me wrong," and stared me dead in the eyes. I wanted to give him the lesson that the Year 7s will be doing in a few weeks, but I was ill-prepared lol. Next election, I'm coming for ya old mate

Also the amount of paper wasted is insane to me.

[โ€“] DolphinLundgrin@aussie.zone 7 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

They're not going to argue faithfully. You should have decked the cunt.

He needed a big whack in the head.

I have to say A+ for effort on the sign he was wearing.
