I was a participant on the 5th and admit to happy tears.
These protests (for me) are about us as a people, our constitution, our government. I might be the only one who thinks that specifically anti trump or anti musk signs are cringe.
I'm hoping we can focus on policy, focus on our rights and focus on what needs to be strengthened.
These are my hopes for April 19th
Wear red, white, and blue.
Take back the flag.
Become patriots not nationalists.
Do not engage is whataboutism, straw man, or pointing out "the other side" - this is about us not them.
We aren't political, we are rational and we are standing up for everyone.
Am I the only one?
