Two words:

Leprechaun 4: In Space

Okay that's slightly more than two words.

Is anyone else a firm believer that Event Horizon is canonically "in-universe" with Warhammer 40K?

"The Warp is a strange and terrible place. You might as well throw a traveler into a sea of sharks and tell him to swim home as send him through the Warp unprotected. Better it is not to let common man travel through the stars. Better still, let him not know such a thing is feasible."

Nah the first half of the 21st century is very rough in the Star Trek universe. We're right on track ~~(not really, I think we're fucked long term)~~ but it sucks to be the ones to live through it.

I thought Star Trek universe also happened after a major event that was because of politics?

Yeah, the Bell Riots are considered to be one of the biggest turning points for humanity in Star Trek.

But I think we have what it takes to reach that point and just keep digging.

That's Event Horizon if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, as others have said, it's Event Horizon

We got star trek, but the mirror universe

[–] eldavi@lemmy.ml 3 points 10 hours ago

It's worse than that; the prime universe inches towards the universe where the federation is overtaken by the Borg each time the kick out a tankie despite Trek's leftist premise.
