I'm a digital artist and I'm starting to work on this huge drawing that I have planned! πŸ˜ƒ The creature at the focus of the drawing was definitely not inspired by a Korok!

Update: some progress!

Update 2 (last one!): more ice antlers rendering

Wow mate, that's a really engaging image. I like things that are different, and that's really striking and there's great colours.

Thank you so much! πŸ˜ƒ I keep adding things to the sketch layers so this one is gonna take a while! Working with a resolution of 2940 x 2205!

Ooh I don't know what a Korok is, but I wanna be friends with this little leaf :) Very cool!

Thank you! It's a friendly little familiar spirit being conjured up in a couldron πŸ˜ƒ

Koroks themselves are adorable too!

It’s so cute! I am always fascinated with the artists that work digitally. I tried it a little, but I find it quite difficult and not natural for me at all. It involves too much of the brain. I rather throw paint on the canvas and let my hands guide me. How many hours do you put into a finished drawing?

[–] Corno@lemm.ee 2 points 1 week ago

Thank you!

I don't keep track of how many hours I put into a finished drawing and it really depends! I typically only draw when I'm in the mood for it. This one which I did for my friend's birthday took me about 2 months on and off πŸ˜… Progress pictures for this drawing are here!

I'm really pleased with how my stairway decorating turned out! It's dusky pink with a navy wallpaper wall and it looks great. I didn't paint it cos I don't have those skills.

I also helped a client in a really creative way... I really problem solved and helped them. I'm so proud of myself

Aw congrats! Dusky pink with a navy wallpaper sounds like it'd really compliment well!

Yep I don't have an eye for it so I'm really proud of myself

I am very crafty. I do lots of things: crochet, knitting, procreate, mini painting etc.

Recently I bought rocailles pearls just to make silly little bracelets and I love it. Just string them on an elastic band nothing fancy and gift them to anyone I meet.

I got the idea from a advent calendar exchange. 24 people make 24 times the same β€žTΓΌrchen (doorlet)β€œ. You meet and exchange so everyone has 24 different ones. I love this idea.

I love personal gifts like that, they're so thoughtful and individual

Well, my everyday creative outlet is cooking. Today I just summed up ingredients to make some Chinese style noodles with some veggies, Spanish jamΓ³n, sesame paste, lots of sauces and spices. My husband was thrilled. I had a migraine, so for me it was more just stopping the hunger.

But cooking is the easiest way for me to be creative in any state I am in. To paint, sew or other things, I need a good rested body and good mood.
