In the movie this action didn't just lead to suicide but to the destruction of the world.
I need to watch this movie now, as an adult. I've only seen it as a young teen; I don't think I understood most of it back then. I certainly didn't find it as funny as my dad at the time. I liked the bomb riding scene tho.
Definitely worth it. Also depressing how little has changed and how much we've regressed from what little progress we've made after the end of the cold war.
