I want to use this for work, and it needs to have the following features:

  1. It should be light on resources without a lot of bloat.
  2. A calendar view where I can set tasks and repeatable reminders.
  3. Reminders should pop up on my screen with an audible alarm.
  4. It would be really nice if it sat in my system tray with a nice icon.

UPDATE: Well, I did some more digging and I found WeekToDo which looks like it will do exactly what I need it to do. Regardless, thanks for the help, everyone! :)

Have you tried the built in calendar? I'm not being sarcastic. I also overlooked it at first. You can easily connect it to online calendars (ie Nextcloud). It lives in the tray, and pops up reminders for events.

Are you talking about the calendar that opens up when you click on the time/date applet in the system tray? I can't for the life of me figure out how to schedule an event or set a reminder with it. It's been absolutely useless to me, so I've always ignored it.

Yeah, sorry I forgot to reply earlier. I'll look at it tomorrow and explain.

@CptHacke Hello,

did you take a look at "Evolution"?
It's already pre-installed in LM.

That's overkill for what I want.
