Not much has changed, just saw a video of a bunch of someones coworkers watching SpongeBob on their smartphone screen LMAO

People share their screen back then. But not much now. People don't like watching together on small screen anymore.

I remember when I was a kid, some people were on the news watching a concert through the internet, live.

Specifically, I remember they looked bored as their blurred frames came through at 0.5–1 fps. I imagine the music through awful desktop PC speakers at super low kbps was just as great.

Couldv put on the CD or casette, but nooo. "Technology".
