They also support Alberta's UCP, led by Trump fangirl Danielle Smith.

Greg's is Canadian-owned. There are more alternatives at the bottom of https://refuseuline.com/

Holy cow I just recommended them to someone the other day, I need to cancel that real quick.

Edit: Danielle Smith is a wretched traitor to Canada bought and paid for. Already hated her, but her little Mar-a-lago bribe vacation should be grounds for treason.

I know the whole "Strip Musk of his citizenship" petition wasn't going anywhere because the only way to do that is if you can prove that the person gained it through fraud. Maybe we could petition to change it to include treason?

Oh u-line is owned by an uber religious family who donates to conversion therapy and other anti-lgbtq causes. No news here. Fuck the uihlein.

I switched to Global Industrial. I'd rather find a fully Canadian company, but at least it's not Ewwline anymore.

I switched to whitebird.ca, they seem fine

It would help if you mentioned alternative vendors with similar product lines. Makes it easier to convince people to switch

It really depends on what you are actually buying as they carry a very very large number of products.

One option is grand and toy if you were getting office supplies.

It's easy to not use ULINE, their prices are fucking outrageous.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I thought pricing was OK. And they're a one-stop-shop with super easy terms.

Anyone got an alternative? I tried to quit buying for my last company a few years ago because of their right-wing and Russian ties, but by then I was stocked up and when we needed something extra, "Just use Uline."

I started using Grainger for most things except boxes, we found a local company that does it cheaper.

But I'm not in Canada, idk if it will help or not.
