Ocasio-Cortez responded by questioning Tom Homan's ability to read, suggesting he take a look at the Constitution
LOL
Knowing your rights is an act of resistance. And it is perfectly legal (for now).

She's quite good at this game.
And yet folks on the left find reasons to kneecap her.
Sadly it’s not “left”. Democrats now consist of two very distinct groups. The “establishment” who want politics as usual and suck on their donors teats. These were the ones that were complaining about people asking them to stand up to Trump, and at this point are part of the problem.
Then There is a much smaller group of “progressives” that consist of AOC, Sanders and a few others. These people are the ones actually interested in fighting for us. The problem is, not only are they getting flack from the right. They’re getting flack from their own party.
Assuming we get another election the only way to even remotely dig ourselves out of this hole is to start primaring the hell out of the establishment candidates.
I was referring to anyone left of center. Highlighting that it's not just maga coming for her.
Further left needs to stop purity testing each other. No one is "good enough" if you go by terminally online progleft rules, even them.
I'm for anyone that will pull left and less authoritarian than the way things currently stand. We can fight it out once things start getting better.
Hell yeah brother
I don't care what that guy says, I want to see her work. Where's the seminar? Where's the information about our rights? This is distraction.

(Apologies for the link to a proprietary walled-garden social network. It was too much work to transfer just the information)
This isn't the first time the US would rather citizens not know their rights. I am sure there are a couple cases, but the US helped Britain keep it's citizens in the dark when the British kicked out the people of the Chagos Islands. From Wikipedia
The Chagos Islands had been home to the Chagossians, a Bourbonnais Creole-speaking people, until the United Kingdom expelled them from the archipelago at the request of the United States between 1967 and 1973 to allow the United States to build Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia, a military base on Diego Garcia, on land leased from the UK military in the British Indian Ocean Territories. Since 1971, only the atoll of Diego Garcia has been inhabited, and only by employees of the US military, including American civilian contracted personnel. Since being expelled, Chagossians, like all others not permitted by the UK or US governments, have been prevented from entering the islands.
The British government would find ways to get the locals to leave the very remote islands and then not let them return. It made sure they didn't know they were actually British citizens with rights. The US was also nice enough to exterminate all of the islands pets in a very cruel manner.
Behind the Bastards has a GREAT podcast on the whole situation. Highly recommend a listen
