according to the github, most distributions such as Ubuntu, Fedora or Arch already have the package cool-retro-term in their official repositories

I daily drive this as my main terminal emulator both at work and at home, feels like living in a cyberpunk fantasy. Such a cool project.

I use it a lot. It's very good at emulating the screen I used on a VT220 for a long time. Has all kinds of effects settings, too.
