Although you can indeed buy electric Vespas, there are tons of the iconic scooters that are still equipped with combustion engines. If you have one of those classic rides and want to make it electric, the Retrokit may be just what you're looking for.

Seems like a well thought out kit, I don't see any cutting of the frame or body required, just direct replacement of some parts.

From the article (ad?) I gather;

It drives the rear wheel with 21lb/ft of torque, goes 50 miles on a charge, tops out at 28mph unless you buy the upgrade to unlock 50mph from the same motor and 2.3kwh battery.

That's pretty solid
