The current avatar is a graphics created by "India in Pixels". The graphics describe what country is more representative of an Indian state, population wise. The graphics probably has a copyright (though I tried to reach out to the India in Pixels team about their copyrighted for the pictures in their website but they haven't replied). Other than that, it isn't really representative of the community and it's purpose.
I know the community is not very active, but I would still like to see a change that shows that the admins have faith in it.

Maybe you can find a more appropriate graphics in Wikimedia commons or someplace similar with a graphics with a more permissive license and something that fits the theme of the community properly.
