This is comparison of various payment methods. In my opinion the most important aspects are: (1) privacy, (2) fungibility and resilience to censorship and expropriation, (3) day-to-day convenience and acceptance.

Money orders are missing on this. You can use them to pay bills and transfer money. Much safer than carrying cash. You can usually cash them at the same places that issue them. Although many places require id to buy them. Ymmv
