Engine light came on a week after recharging the battery. I'm wondering if it's something I did during battery removal.

Sorry if it's not much help, but I use TuneECU and a Bluetooth OBD adapter on my Triumph. Supposedly they support some KTM models, but I'm not sure which ones. You may also need some kind of OBD to KTM adapter for the Bluetooth connection.

I just purchased [This one](http://www.SuperOBD.com/ for Euro5 Adapter 6 Pin Motorrad Bike Diagnose OBD Motorcycle 6pin to OBD2 Some K-Line + CAN-BusKTM Moto Guzzi Piaggio Vespa ECU Adaptor Plug Cable V85TT ISO 19689 https://a.co/d/1GQDV3c) I'll let you know if it works.

I have a 1290 SAS. Pretty sure it needs to be one that is euro 5 standard.

Correction to the above, it's a 6pin euro 5 that you need and I can confirm the above cable works.
