From past experience, I think the Republicans always managed to get some concessions out of the Democrats.

Ah, the old shity bait and switch.
chip roy is an asshole. He worked for john cornyn and rafael “ted” cruz, and ghost wrote rick perry’s book. He’s a “burn it all down” republican (nearly libertarian), with a I Got Mine, Screw You position.
Treat this Republican caucus like the baby nursery it is. They aren't here to govern anyway, let them cry and have their tantrums. When they're ready to pay the bills they agreed to and be the grown-up Representatives that they're supposed to be, then let's talk.
