MODERATORS

put all of your election posting here so it doesn't bother anyone else!

from @CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

This has to be the most meandering, shitposty, incomprehensible, low energy victory speech there ever was

Wow, right now the NYT says every swing state leans Trump to some extent. I thought whoever won, it would be a squeaker. Somehow the CHUDs might have stumbled ass-backwards into a correct prediction of a Trump landslide. Harris is such a bad politician.

Brothers will fight and kill each other,

sisters' children will defile kinship.

It is harsh in the world, whoredom rife

—an axe age, a sword age —shields are riven—

a wind age, a wolf age— before the world goes headlong.

No man will have mercy on another.

Maybe it’s me, but I think aggressively campaigning with a Republican who is the daughter of one of the most hated men in America is NOT a winning strategy for getting your Dem base voters to come out and vote for you. But I’m just a commie on the internet, what do I know…

Apparently ~240 million people are eligible to vote in amerikkka which surprises me that more than 50% of people showed up. Also 30 million more people abstained from voting than either candidate got amerikkka-clap

i-voted PSL

some of the local issues could be extremely important, but as usual I expect the liberals in my state to vote for the most fascist outcomes
