Considering how Toriyama named a lot of his characters, looking to the shower stall for ideas would just be on-brand.
Vegeta is a name of a spice here, Try searching "Croatia Podravka Vegeta" and learn.

Nearly every DragonBall character is named after food, actually. Like, a huge majority of them are.
