I think the whole greentext is written to edge on incest but never providing on purpose. Too many nods at that scenario.
See the trick is to skim the last few lines first so you know what you are getting into
Skimming the last line is how I read "boned" instead of "bonded"
There was a study to show that people enjoy books more when they read the last chapter first.
Depends on the people I guess. I personally lose all interest in a book or movie if you spoil the ending for me.

That being said, mine and my sister were pretty horrible to each other as kids. Not in the same ways, but that's beside the point.
It wasn't until we were both not only older, but had lived apart for a long while that we could be friends rather than just doing the bare minimum you do for family.
