Hi is testing still available?

I want to like this app but it still crashes my iPad 7 in minutes. Thanks for working on it!

Are you able to let me know which version of iOS you’re using?

[-] TSR55@lemm.ee 1 points 11 months ago

Sure - 16.5.1 on an iPad 7. I sent that a couple of times before but it’s got to be a pain writing something compatible with everything.

[-] steve228uk@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago

Sorry! Hard to keep track of everything 😖

I’ve found your device in the crash logs and I’m going to see if I can track down where it’s occurring.

Your app is a slick way to scroll through this stuff, thanks for working on it!

Holy hell this app is amazingly quick!!! Excellent work!!

I have an odd request. This is way down in the priority list, or I can even contribute to make this happen. Is there a way we can incorporate a font like Monaco?

I have a feeling that it could be quite appealing to a number of users looking into lemmy as a vintage platform. With the overall app design, it has that “neon” aesthetic. If I can contribute just to see what that looks like, lmk and I would be happy to aid in my admittedly silly request.

Thank you! 😊

That shouldn’t be a problem. Could pair nicely with a “hacker” theme.

You rock! 😄

I've just added push notifications — This is very alpha at the moment. The switch is wonky and needs an activity indicator and the server currently only checks the latest reply notification every 2 minutes and sends a notification for that if it hasn't already.

I'll be working on this some more tomorrow but if you'd like to turn it on in the meantime, please do as I'd like to see what failed jobs occur in the queue.

I will let you know in a future update if you need to re-register for Push Notifications as the server will likely be changed ahead of launch.

Updated downloaded, and push notifications activated.

I've downloaded the TestFlight beta today and noticed every time I open the app, "Pro" is not longer activated. Is this known behaviour?

[-] steve228uk@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

Yeah it is, subscriptions in Sandbox mode are accelerated and are renewed 12 times automatically in a short period before expiring. Please use the lifetime option to keep Pro enabled in beta.

[-] EighthLayer@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago

Thanks! I had tried using the lifetime option but it wouldn't do it initially as it said changes were being made or something. It works now.

[-] mooniyaw@lemmy.ca 1 points 10 months ago

I couldn’t activate pro in the beta

[-] mooniyaw@lemmy.ca 1 points 10 months ago

Ah got it on the 2nd try!

Which plan did you pick and which error did you get?
