REALLY wish Valve would just upgrade their display. Would help if peripheral headset companies weren't price gouging out the ass for worthless gimmicks.

Oh no, we're on it for the same reasons. I honestly would be willing to shill the doubled price point of a PCVR headset, but ALL of them (excluding the massively overpriced) have shit-tier displays compared to the Quest 3, which is why I can't quite justify it yet. Of course, if Meta wasn't selling at a loss it wouldn't even be a question, just fuck them.
Display port over usb-c would be pretty sweet… 🙏
Meta makes their money through advertisements and the commission they take on store sales. They have no incentive to make a good PCVR headset.
