I don't see how I can do that. There is no way to access the sidebar that's visible on desktop when I'm on mobile.

Long press on the photon icon in the bottom left and scroll down or type

Yep, this is it. you can also search for any other link in the command palette, switch accounts, etc.

I don't know a good way to make it discoverable
