[THIS POST CONTAINS ACT 3 SPOILERS! DUH!]

Hey everyone,

I have two small questions about the last zone but I'm afraid if I look them up I'll find more than I want to know.

I ended last night at a courtyard with enemies all around and a restoration pod out front. I saved and clicked the pod, noting it is single-use. I also aggroed by accident and saw that more enemies spawn once the fight gets going.

So my questions are:

  1. Is this one long gauntlet to the boss or are there more encounters along the way? I've had the stupid "save that for later!" mindset the whole game and I want to actually use the allies and items I've collected before the credits roll.

  2. If not, is this the last restoration pod? I'm only down a few spell slots but if it's the last opportunity to Long Rest I might as well take it

Thank you in advance!

There are two battles before the final boss. One is the courtyard you are at. The other isn't so much a battle as a harried sprint to your objective. There's another restoration pod at the door to the boss. Go ham.

Edit: The final boss fight is not a gimme, though, so don't use up all your consumables on the way there! I went into part of it expecting a victory lap and got my shit packed.

You can skip the Courtyard too provided you have a character with enough movement, actions, and flight.

A Thief Rogue or Monk with a Potion of Speed and/or Potion of Flight can travel stupid distances in one round.

I forgot to use them until the last fight and then I had them all on the field by turn 3 lol

I also had like 14 summons which was....slow but effective

I only used a couple of mine thinking there would be more fights and I needed to save them, and then I just dominated the boss fight with barely using any help either. I saved before I entered the final area so I could do different choices, so ill probably just drop almost everything I have in the courtyard and go from there on my next go.

Yeah if I remember right after that it's just one fight,I'd rest and go

Thank you! So that's no break between this battle and the final boss? I have like 8 different allies to summon so I figured there'd be multiple chances to use them after getting them

There's like 3ish "battles" before the end, but they all have an ilithid healing pod before or in them.

Awesome! Thank you so much that's exactly the info I was looking for.

I regret picking a druid and the only thing saving grace to it's novelty for me is summoning everything I can...but that's quite a few spell slots to waste if I know I can't refresh them (I know I can change classes...but....Jubaduba made it this far as a druid so he's gonna finish as one)
