I mostly agree, however I think the most recent season is dragging. To keep it light on spoilers, they kind of stop following the main plot and more or less revert to the old format as a kind of training arc.

It's been more than a year since it started airing. It is dubbed up to 30 out of 61 episodes iirc.
Is the animation all kiddie still? Like, it looks like at some point the animation got all overly-cutsie and saccharine...
Yes for this reason I prefer the earlier series , the artwork in more nostalgic

I have heard a lot of good about it, and am glad to hear that it is well-deserved. I may make time to watch it in time myself.
Yah I am watching it too, I like the earlier episodes a lot. Later on the formula changes a bit unfortunately to the detriment of the series but ot is still quite fun
